with Elise
In a reiki session with me you can prepare to relax, alchemize, and leave feeling a little more aligned than before. In our sessions I will hold a ceremonious space for you as we drop into a co-creative flow together with the intention of bringing you into a state of resonance.
Every session with me is different.
Often we’ll start with a chat, a meditation, a cup of tea, a reading. Grounding and processing are a MUST. Sessions may occur fully in this space if necessary and in flow.
On the table, I will tend to your energy as it is reflected in the body. As you relax, I tune into the natural flow of your energy & work to dissolve any tension or blockages preventing it from flowing throughout your entire being. Touch is never necessary & always optional; please note that I am not a massage therapist and do not offer massage treatments.
I love to utilize tools like incense/herbal smudges, crystals & sound to help move energy, but the most powerful tools are breath, bodily presence and relaxation.
Reiki sessions can be held in person (Bend, OR) or virtually.

In the lineage of kundalini reiki the goal is, rather than asking for healing from the external manifestation of the Divine, to heal from the inside out by turning into resonance with your innate divinity. In the attunement process, we work on developing centeredness in the relationship between the internal and external through the scope of micro/marcocosm, acknowledging that everything down to the smallest particles in our universe is a fractal of the purest energy: God or “universal energy” (or whichever name you prefer). We’ll work through each chakra as we open up the entire body to comfortably channel & hold this life force energy on all levels.
There are three levels in kundalini reiki. Through each I’ll show you the roots of the practice & the way that I’ve best integrated it into my own hands. when attuning with me we’ll break the process down into three sessions per level: your pre-attunement session to check in and prepare —— your attunement —— and your post-attunement session to ground & integrate.
Attunement can be held in person (Bend, OR) or virtually.

What is Reiki?
Let's look at the etymology of the word to understand the meaning!
Reiki has its roots in Japan so we'll translate these kanji:

霊 – rei – soul/spirit

気 – ki – vital/life-force/universal energy
I also like to compare the etymology of "reiki" to that of "Aiki", the principle philosophy of Aikido:
In summary, reiki is the practice of channeling & aligning with universal energy from the seat of the soul. This ripples down from the tier of pure energy through emotional perception, into & through the mind all the way throughout the physical body.

In a tarot session with me, we’ll explore the current energies surrounding your situation and how they might shape future outcomes. By focusing on the present moment, we can identify where you have control and where you might feel limited. My reading style is purely intuitive, meaning my interpretations may differ from traditional meanings of the cards. For me, the cards serve as bullet points, while my intuition fills in the notes. I’ll also use oracle cards to supplement your reading. Additionally, I may channel information through the clair senses.

Elise is a Yoga Alliance certified RYT200 with roots in Hatha (via Akasha Yoga Academy), Vinyasa, Yin and Bhakti (via self-study). At the center of her practice is the same thing you’ll find in the center of your own being: the sacredness of the Heart. This unifying thread is woven throughout all that exists, expressed across cultures and within our bodies in religion, art, language and science alike. Elise believes that when you live from the heart, everything else will align with that frequency, and that magic happens when you gather and share in this with others.
Wherever you are in your practice of yoga, whether just beginning on the mat or fully immersed in samadhi, I will meet you there in a 1:1 yoga class tailor-made to fit your unique body, mind, heart and soul.
